Two Arrested After Motel Shooting in White Settlement

WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas – Two individuals are in custody following an early-morning shooting at a White Settlement motel on Wednesday.

According to authorities, officers responded to reports of gunfire just after 1:45 a.m. at a motel located in the 600 block of North Jim Wright Freeway. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, though his current condition remains unknown.

Police apprehended the suspected shooter at the scene and detained a second individual believed to be involved in the incident. A firearm, thought to have been used in the shooting, was recovered as evidence. Both suspects remain in police custody.
