Tom Clay

Tom Clay is a veteran broadcaster with over 40 years on the air. His career began in high school in Liberal, Kansas where he started as a disc jockey at a local station, as well as one of the youngest ever television anchors in the nation at 17.

Tom volunteered to join the U.S. Army in 1972, and was a broadcaster on the Army Information Radio Service (AIRS) heard in over 100 countries. Following his service in the military, he became News Director of a local Washington D.C. station and worked at the Mutual Broadcasting System.

Over the years he has worked in Colorado Springs, Houston, Miami, Austin, San Antonio and most recently as the Operations Manager and Morning News Anchor for KSET in Beaumont.

Tom is married with two children, and one grandchild. He loves to swim, read, and spend time with his family, and extended family in Dallas.
