DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Children’s Health has announced it will no longer host its annual holiday parade. The organization had hosted the event for nearly 30 years.
Hospital spokesman Scott Summerall telling WFAA-TV, “We have decided to move forward with other new and meaningful ways to bring cheer to families in our community this holiday season.” Summerall added that Children’s Health will continue to host other holiday events like Breakfast with Santa, its annual Holiday Tree Lighting at its Plano and Dallas Campuses along with its Holiday Patient Party.
The Children’s Health Holiday Parade had only been canceled two times in it’s almost 30 year history.
