Dallas Marshals to Honor Jordan Edwards

(WBAP/KLIF) The Dallas Marshals, a professional indoor football team, will honor Jordan Edwards at their Saturday night game on May 6th. Edwards, who was a Freshman football player at Mesquite High School, was fatally shot by a Balch Springs Police Officer over the weekend. General Manager of the Dallas Marshals, Doug Bland says he knows the community will come together to help the Edwards family: “When something like this happens I think everyone rallies together…every body is going to want to be a part of something that is going to help this family get through this rough time.” Bland says that 50% of Saturdays game ticket sales will go to help the Edwards family.
