DALLAS (WBAP & KLIF News) — Two new ramps will be installed in their permanent locations at the Dallas mixmaster Friday night.

They will both be on I-30 westbound — one that connects to I-35E southbound and another at the I-30 exit onto Colorado Blvd. They will be installed overnight beginning at 10:00 pm and will be open Saturday morning.

“There will be a detour in place, which takes traffic north on I-345 to Woodall Rodgers to get around the closures,” said Dianne Tordillo of the Dallas Horseshoe Project. “But by Saturday morning, both ramps will be open and open for public use.”

Tordillo says there will be signs in place, but that drivers still need to be alert to the changes in the roadway.

The Dallas Horseshoe Project has provided a YouTube video explaining the changes.
