Trump Slams Clinton During Rally in Dallas

imageDALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Donald Trump opened and closed his rally in Dallas Thursday with “Deep in the Heart of Texas” playing over the speakers.

He spoke for about an hour in front of a crowd of nearly 2,000 people at Gilley’s.

He immediately hit Hillary Clinton, saying he looks forward to the debates. He played to the crowd. At one point, he asked if she should be allowed to run. They booed. “I am so looking forward to the debate,” Trump said. “The debate with crooked Hillary. I assume she is going to be allowed to run.”

Trump also touched on the victims of the Orlando shooting. He said members of the LGBT community thought of the Pulse nightclub as a safe place. He also said they have started to take a liking to his campaign.

imageThe rally was interrupted several times by protesters inside. They were all escorted outside while Trump said “Go home to your parents.”

There were brief scuffles outside, but for the most part, the protest remained peaceful.

This was Trump’s third rally in North Texas.
