DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas City Manager A. C. Gonzalez will step down in January.
The city putting out a statement saying Gonzalez has informed both Mayor Mike Rawlings and the City Council he will retire from his post at that time.
Gonzalez has worked for the city for 20 years in various roles.
In a letter to the City Council, Gonzalez writes the decision hasn’t been easy but he wants to give enough time for his replacement to be selected and to get a grasp of all city operations.
He will have held the position for exactly three years.
