GALVESTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The search for an Arlington woman missing in the Gulf of Mexico has been called off.
Samantha Broberg apparently fell off a cruise ship about 200 miles from Galveston early Friday morning. The Carnival Liberty informed the Coast Guard that it had surveillance video of a woman falling overboard.
After a search of all passengers, Broberg was determined to be the one missing.
The video shows she was not wearing a life jacket when she fell from the 10th level of the cruise ship. The vessel had departed Galveston on Thursday on a four-day cruise to Mexico.
