A Grand Prairie man is facing a murder charge after police find the body of a 20-year-old woman. Anthony Marcus was arrested on Thursday after investigators believe he shot Florencia Padilla in a car somewhere between Denton and Grand Prairie.
The car was found outside a Grand Prairie apartment complex on Thursday morning. Police are questioning whether the shooting is a result of family violence. Padilla was the 2014 Valedictorian for the Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy.
