Spring is my favorite time of the year. A renewal for all kinds of things from trees to plants, everything turning green again.
But with that also comes spring storms. In the radio news business it’s something we keep constant eye on and when flooding or tornadoes break out we’re there instantly to try and keep you abreast of what’s happening.
With the pain for loss of life, injuries and damage comes the satisfaction that over the years my fellow crew members at WBAP and KLIF have been able to keep you abreast of the constant changes.
If you haven’t done so, think about volunteering in your local community to help those who need it most.
Each year spring brings an array of changes, some good and some bad. For me looking on the positive side seems to help.
