NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (WBAP/KLIF) – Now that’s called “Saving the Bacon”.
The North Richland Hills police department has tweeted out a story about one of their officers rescuing a pig that had run out into traffic near Loop 820 and Boulevard 26.
A photo included in the “tweet” showed the officer holding the pig wrapped in a blanket.
It’s being cared for now at the North Richland Hills animal shelter.
