(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – Dallas Fire Rescue is deploying six personnel to assist with ongoing wild land fire response efforts in Los Angeles County, California. The deployment includes a type 3 fire engine staffed with four wild land firefighters as part of a strike team composed of resources from around the state. Additionally, two Dallas Fire Rescue members are joining the emergency medical task force to provide critical medical support for fire crews. The deployments are expected to last up to 14 days, with the possibility of extension based on operational needs and conditions on the ground.
