As the new year progresses, fast-food chains are ramping up their value offerings to cater to cost-conscious consumers.

Several prominent brands have already introduced or announced deals designed to attract fast-food enthusiasts seeking affordable options.

Wendy’s has launched a limited-time “2 for $7” deal available exclusively through its app. Customers can choose from two different selections among Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Dave’s Single, and a 10-piece Chicken Nuggets, or opt to “stack two” of one of these items. With 16 combinations available, the offer is set to run until March 2.

Burger King has introduced $5 Duo and $7 Trio deals. For the $5 Duo, customers can select any two items from a menu including Whopper Junior, Original Chicken Sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, Medium Fries, 8-piece Chicken Fries, or a medium soft drink. The $7 Trio expands this choice to three items. Both offers will be available until March 3.

Taco Bell has announced a new lineup of $5, $7, and $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes, set to launch on January 16 and remain on the menu through early June. The $5 Classic Luxe Cravings Box features a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink. The $7 Supreme Luxe Cravings Box includes a Chicken Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips and Nacho Cheese Sauce, along with a medium drink. Meanwhile, the $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box offers Doritos Locos Tacos, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a rotating menu innovation item, paired with a medium drink.

Other major chains, including McDonald’s and Subway, have also introduced value-focused offerings this year.

McDonald’s recently launched its “McValue” menu, featuring a new “Buy One, Add One for $1” deal alongside its existing $5 Meal Deal. For breakfast, eligible items include Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, and Hashbrowns. For lunch and dinner, options include six-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburger, McChicken, and small fries. The $5 Meal Deal will remain on the “McValue” menu throughout the summer.

Subway unveiled its limited-time “Meal of the Day,” offering a different Subway favorite daily. Options include Cold Cut Combo on Monday, Meatball Marina on Wednesday, and Tuna on Friday, paired with a small fountain drink and either two cookies or a bag of chips. The six-inch sub costs $6.99, while the footlong option is $9.99.

These 2025 value offerings follow a trend from the previous year, as fast-food chains continue to adapt to inflationary pressures and evolving consumer spending habits. With an emphasis on affordability, these promotions reflect the industry’s response to economic challenges and a shift toward more wallet-friendly dining options.
