DALLAS — One person died after a shooting in southern Dallas on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 11:45 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 5300 block of Botham Jean Blvd, Dallas police said in a press release. Investigators found a person was shot by an unknown suspect in a parked car, the release states.
The victim died at the scene, police said. Officials did not immediately release the name of the victim.
The shooting is under investigation, police said.
