Blue Alert EXTENDED For Suspect Accused of Injuring Hall County Police Officer

THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY HAS EXTENDED A BLUE ALERT FOR A MAN ACCUSED OF INJURING A HALL COUNTY POLICE OFFICER.

AUTHORITIES ARE SEARCHING FOR 33-YEAR-OLD SETH ALTMAN OF MEMPHIS, TEXAS.

MEMPHIS POLICE CHIEF REX PLANT WAS SHOT WHILE SERVING AN ARREST WARRANT, ACCORDING TO A RELEASE FROM GOVERNOR GREG ABBOTT’S OFFICE.

ABBOTT ALSO ANNOUNCED A 10-THOUSAND DOLLAR REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO ALTMAN’S ARREST.

HALL COUNTY (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a Blue Alert Friday morning for a man accused of injuring a hall county police officer.

Authorities are searching for 33-year-old Seth Altman of Memphis, Texas in connection to the incident.

Altman is white, 6’2″, 220 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen Thursday around 11 pm wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

Authorities consider Altman to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots him is urged not to approach and call 911.

Hall County is located in the panhandle about four hours northwest of Dallas County.
