DART Delays Expected This Week After Firetruck Falls Off Elevated Roadway, 4 Firefighters Injured

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – DART is warning riders that service will be impacted Monday and possibly throughout the week as crews work to repair damage from a freak accident Sunday morning.

Four Dallas firefighters were injured when their station truck drove off of U.S. 75 over southeast junction and landed on the dart tracks below at I-345 near South Good Latimer.

As a result; DART services lost power in the downtown Dallas’ central business district and halted all train traffic in the area.

DART operations set up bus shuttles at CityPlace Uptown, Deep Ellum, Pearl Arts District, West End, EBJ Union and Victory to get passengers to their connections.
