Kamala Harris is Speaking in Dallas on Wednesday

Sen. Kamala Harris of California said that if she’s elected president, she will back abolishing the filibuster if Senate Republicans stand in the way of legislation to combat climate change.

(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – The Vice President is delivering the keynote address at the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority’s national convention. An estimated 20,000 women are expected to be attending the event, which is taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Wednesday.

Kamala Harris has spoken at multiple Alpha Kappa Alpha events, and has been a member of the sorority since she joined in 1986 while she was a student at Howard University. Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded in 1908 at howard university in washington d-c.

The entire nation has had its eyes on Kamala Harris ever since Joe Biden had a poor performance in the first presidential debate against former President Donald Trump. Some Democrats are even suggesting that Vice President Harris should take the top spot on the Democrat ticket replacing President Biden.
