WYLIE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Residents in Wylie are rallying around the family of a 5-year-old boy who was fatally hit by a car while riding his bike near his home at the Glen Knoll Mobile Home Park.
In a statement, the Wylie Police Department said got the call about the accident around 6:30 Wednesday evening.
First responders rushed Jaden Ramos to Medical City Dallas, where he later died.
Investigators say the driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with authorities. No criminal charges have been announced in the case.
A memorial has been set up where Jaden lost his life and his aunt has set up a GoFundMe to help pay funeral expenses.
