Storms Lead to Hundreds of Flight Delays, and Cancellations at DFW Airport

(WBAP/KLIF) – DFW AIRPORT – According to the website flight aware, DFW International Airport was number one in the world for flight delays and cancellations on Thursday. Due to the storms, around 900 flights were delayed, and more than 500 flights were canceled at the airport. Nearly half of all American Airlines flights were delayed. American Airlines sent an e-mail warning customers that severe weather could cause more possible disruptions on Friday.
