The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is bringing National Geographic to Dallas!
The National Geographic Live Speaker Series will start in February, and consists of National Geographic explorers recounting remarkable stories of their discoveries.
“We will have Dr. Lee Berger, who is a National Geographic explorer,” Senior Director of Operations and Events, Chantel Boudreaux, said. “He’ll be here talking about his new book, Cave of Bones, in which scientists examine clues from underground from over two hundred and fifty thousand years ago.”
The museum will also host Aerospace Engineer, Tracy Drain, in May who will touch on space exploration where complex robots are rewriting our understanding of the universe.
And in October, Paleontologist, Dr. Lindsay Zanno, will talk about how the T. rex became the iconic apex predator of North America more than 60 million years ago.
All three events will be held in the Hoglund Foundation Theater. Tickets are available at https://www.perotmuseum.org/events/adults/national-geographic-live-speaker-series/
