The Zula B. Wylie Library in Cedar Hill is continuing its annual MLK Day Community Celebration with a special guest.
“We are excited this year to be bringing Elliot Jones,” Library Director, Aranda Bell, said. “He is the grandson of Maya Angelou. He will be reflecting on how she used her voice, and specifically her gift of poet and spoken word, to really help make an impact and unify folks around the vision of really just coming together.”
The celebration is Thursday, January 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the Cedar Hill Government Center located at 285 Uptown Blvd., Cedar Hill, TX 75104.
The event is free and open to the public.
