The North Texas Food Bank is hosting mobile food distributions for the week of January 8th!
These distributions are for families struggling to make ends meet, which Senior Manager of Communications, Jeff Smith, says they’re seeing an increase of.
“Our neighbors in every zip code are facing increasingly difficult choices everyday,” he said. “They’re having to decide whether to purchase groceries or pay for other necessities such as gas, medicine, housing or utilities.”
He adds that the distributions will offer families a variety of foods such as shelf stable items and fresh produce. But that if people want to more carefully select their items, they can visit their website at https://ntfb.org/
Families do not need to register for the mobile food distributions, but you might want to hurry, because it’s fist come, first serve.
