Nearly $2 Million Bond Set for Carrollton Woman Accused of Stabbing Her Husband, Driving Into Pond with Kids

CARROLLTON (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A $1.8 million bond has been set for a Carrollton woman accused of stabbing her husband then driving her car with her children inside into a pond last Friday.

Wei Fen Ong is being held in the Denton County Jail on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon resulting in injury.

Carrollton Police said they responded to a call around 7:45 a.m. from a man who said his wife stabbed him with a knife inside their home in the 4400 block of Tall Knight Lane just north of Indian Creek.

Shortly after that, Lewisville Police received a 911 call about a women and three kids in a car that had been driven into a pond in the 900 block of Hebron Parkway.

A Good Samaritan was driving by the pond and saw what had occurred. He jumped into the water and helped arrive first responders pull the unresponsive children to safety.

The kids, ages 12, 9 and 8 were rushed to hospital. Carrollton Police said the youngest is still hospitalized.
