Dallas Police Release Image of Car Suspected in Hit-and-Run That Killed 7-Year-Old Girl

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Dallas police have released an image of the type of vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 7-year-old girl earlier this week.

Investigators said she was hit by at least two cars on the service road in the 7600 block of Lyndon B Johnson Service Road in North Dallas around 12:10 a.m. Monday.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined the driver of a white vehicle was traveling eastbound along that service road and hit the child who was laying in the roadway.

Investigators believe she had already been hit by a car that never stopped. The suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade or something similar. However, the color is unknown.

The vehicle should have damage to the front right with a missing right headlight.

The driver of the white car stopped to help and is working with police.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Detective Sammy Shaw #8357 of the Vehicle Crimes Unit at 214-608-7813 or [email protected].
