(WBAP/KLIF) — The National Retail Federation expects Halloween to generate a record $12.2 billion in sales this year. In addition, North Texans are seeking spooky entertainment, such as the Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth.
Owner Todd James says the backdrop is a 100-year-old abandoned meat-packing plant on Hell’s Half Acre and features live actors, animatronics, slides, fog, and a world renowned drum line.. The Guinness Book of World Records has recognized the Halloween entertainment attraction as the largest haunted house in the world.
Thousands of North Texans will parade through the 4-story building from now through Halloween. James says they’ve entertained a number of celebrities including Selena Gomez, Tanya Tucker, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, among others.
Cutting Edge Haunted House is located near the intersection of I-30 & I-35W in Fort Worth and is open on Friday’s and Saturday’s, as well as Monday and Tuesday, October 30th and 31st.
