Fort Worth’s Fourth Hits Panther Island

(WBAP/KLIF) — Nearly 100,000 people will crowd Fort Worth’s Panther Island for Tuesday night’s Independence Day celebration.

Fort Worth’s Fourth Fireworks

Tarrant Regional Water District’s Matt Oliver says each year the TRWD organizes ‘Fort Worth’s Fourth‘ with a myriad of activities, including live music, swimming, food, and plenty of activities for the kids. Oliver says the TRWD will have two water stations available for visitors to stay hydrated in the heat during the two live bands performing at the waterfront stage prior to the fireworks show.

Coolers are not permitted, however visitors are welcome to bring floatation devices for the Trinity River. ‘Fort Worth’s Fourth‘ opens at 5:00 p.m. at the Panther Island Pavilion, with fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
