Wet Weather Could Linger in parts of North Texas

According to the National Weather Service, Widely scattered strong to severe storms are expected Sunday afternoon near a stalled front. Very large hail & damaging wind gusts in excess of 65 mph will be the main threats. Otherwise, it’ll be hot and humid with heat index values climbing to 100-108 degrees.

The temperatures are expected to climb this week.

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Severe weather is possible on Saturday across North Texas. Strong wind and hail are in the forecast. Winds could exceed 60mph in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect for portions of the area through 10 PM. Conditions will be favorable for damaging winds up to 75 mph and hail up to 3 inches in diameter.
