Memorial Service For Allen Mass Shooting Victim Elio Cumana-Rivas Planned in Garland

GARLAND (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Funerals continue for the victims of the mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets Mall on May 6th.

A service for 32-year-old Elio Cumana-Rivas is being held at the Pilar Funeral home in Garland Thursday from 4 pm. – 8 p.m.

The Venezuelan native was one of the eight people killed at the mall on May sixth.

Services for mall security guard Christian LaCour and sisters Daniela and Sofia Mendoza were held earlier this week in Allen and Wylie respectively.

Funerals for three members of the Cho family Kyu, Cindy and their 3-year-old son James were held in Carrollton last week.

Aishwarya Thatikonda’s family says her body was flown to India for burial.

Allen Outlets property managers said it planned to keep the mall closed until all the funerals were held.

The gunman was shot and killed by an Allen police officer. Texas DPS confirmed the shooter had Neo Nazi ideations however, a direct motive for the attack is still being investigated.

GoFundMe has set up a collective page for the community to donate to the support all who were affected by the tragedy.
