Gulfport, MS (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas woman has pleaded guilty in Gulfport, Mississippi to federal conspiracy to commit bank fraud charges in Mississippi.
Cristina Husbands admitted conspiring with others to defraud Regions Bank branches in 5 Mississippi cities. She is also accused of committing bank fraud at Regions Bank branches in Alabama, Colorado, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas. It’s unclear whether she’ll face charges in those states.
Husbands faces a possible prison sentence of up to 30 years when she’s sentenced in July for her Mississippi guilty plea.
