Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – An American Airlines employee was killed Thursday afternoon at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Austin Police say their preliminary investigation shows the unidentified worker drove a ground service vehicle into a jet bridge at the terminal where the airliners park. He was killed in the impact. The Austin Police Department’s Vehicular Homicide Unit is investigating, but so far the death appears to have been an accident.
