DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Stars open the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs at the American Airlines Center on Monday night against the Minnesota Wild.

The Stars finished second in the Central Division and have home-ice advantage, with Games One and Two on Monday and Wednesday at American Airlines Center. It’s a best-of-seven-games series – the first team to four wins advances to the second round.

Fans are encouraged to come early for the PNC Party on the Plaza before the games.

The Dallas Stars and Celsius are hosting several drive-thru rallies throughout the playoffs where fans can pick up car flags and get their vehicle painted in Victory Green with Stars branding.

The Stars have been in the playoffs in four of the last five seasons, including a trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 2020. Head coach Peter DeBoer led the Stars to one of the best records in the NHL, and has taken his former teams to the Conference Finals five times, and two of those to the Stanley Cup Final.
