A hospital staff of 25 performed the 11-hour surgery in January to separate Amie Lynn and Jamie Lynn Finley. The girls were conjoined at the chest and shared a liver. After the surgery, Jamie Lynn was released from the hospital on March 21st, while Amie Lynn came home on Friday. Both girls will continue rehabilitation with Cook Children’s to help them reach their full potential. Conjoined twins are estimated to occur in only 1 in 200,000 live births.

The family drove home for the first time together, Friday. For those wishing to help, a fund has been created at EECU in Fort Worth, while the family also has a baby registry for the girls at Walmart.
