(WBAP/KLIF) — A major court victory for the Texas Attorney General. In December of 2021, Ken Paxton sued the Biden Administration over a plan to force children and teachers to wear masks in all Head Start programs. Now, a Federal Judge has come down with a ruling that agrees with Paxton on banning the President’s mask and vaccine mandates.
The Biden Administration policy required students, teachers, and staff to wear masks at all Head Start Programs and also forced staff and volunteers to be vaccinated for COVID-19. That policy was permanently set aside by a Federal Court judge. Paxton said “the Biden Administration’s attempt to use the Head Start program to mask toddlers and force the vaccine on staff and volunteers has now been permanently defeated.” The court order will prevent the rule from ever being implemented in the future.
Paxton had previously secured a Texas-wide preliminary injunction from the court to halt the rule’s implementation, until this recent ruling. The Texas Attorney General has sued the President Biden over 20 times in regards to COVID mandates and immigration policies.
