(WBAP/KLIF) — The world’s oldest law enforcement officer passed away at 99-years-old.
Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy Bill Hardin passed away, Friday, surrounded by friends and loved ones.
The sheriff’s office released a statement on Facebook saying, “his presence within the walls of this agency will be truly missed. but his legacy will never be forgotten.”
Hardin began his career as an officer in Fort Worth in 1947 and then worked for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office before spending the last 28 years at the Johnson county sheriff’s office.
