Texas: Early Voting Begins for the November Midterm Election; Runs through Nov. 4

Texas (WBAP/KLID) – Early voting for the Nov. 8 midterm elections starts today. High-profile statewide races are on the ballot from governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, to local county judge seats, along with a number of local ballot issues.

During early voting registered voters can go to any polling location in their county. hours vary by county. check your local elections website for more information.

Early voting runs through November 4.

A valid voter id is required.

Acceptable forms include:

Texas driver’s license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
Texas election ID certificate
Texas personal ID card
Texas handgun license
US military ID with photo
US citizenship certificate with photograph (doesn’t need to be current)
US passport
