DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas County Judge addressed the state of Dallas County on Tuesday during his ‘State of the County’ address at the Renaissance Hotel in Dallas.
County Judge Clay Jenkins said jobs numbers are good, COVID-19 numbers are down, and wages are up.
“The biggest challenges for us right now are inflation, which is tapering, gas is getting cheaper,” said Judge Jenkins. “And mental health.”
So how’s the county dealing with those issues?
“So, with inflation there’s not much I can do other than keep your taxes low,” said Judge Jenkins. “On mental health we have to expand telemedicine.”
The Judge said the county has already started that process.
