Wind Advisory for Parts of North; Central Texas

FORT WORTH – (WBAP/KLIF)- A wind advisory is in effect across North and Central Texas, generally east of a line of U S 281, through midnight tonight. Southerly winds could gust to 45 miles an hour, with sustained winds up to 30 miles an hour possible.
Unsecured things outdoors can be launched by winds, and driving, especially in a west to east direction, could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

This wind advisory through midnight tonight affects the following Texas cities, as per the National Weather Service:

Dallas, Fort Worth and the DFW Metroplex; Bowie, Nocona, Gainesville, Sherman, Denison, Bonham, Paris, decatur, Bridgeport, carrollton, Denton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Greenville, Commerce, Cooper, Sulphur Springs, Weatherford, Briar, Arlington, Rockwall, Heath, Terrell, Kaufman, Forney, Canton, Grand Saline, Wills Point, Van, Edgewood, Emory, East Tawakoni, Point, Granbury, Oak Trail Shores, Glen Rose, Cleburne, Burleson, Waxahachie, Ennis, Midlothian, Athens,
Gun Barrel City, Clifton, Meridian, Valley Mills, Hillsboro, Corsicana, Teague, Fairfield, Wortham, Palestine, Copperas Cove, Gatesville, Killeen, Temple, Fort Hood, Waco, Marlin, Mexia, Groesbeck, Buffalo, Centerville, Jewett, Normangee, Oakwood, Cameron, Rockdale, Hearne, Franklin, and Calvert.
