DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – A bevy of Halloween events for children and their families are planned or getting underway Sunday afternoon; some events run through early evening hours as well. After last year’s Halloween fun was tempered by the Covid-19 outbreak, kids and parents seem anxious to take part in many events around the Metroplex today. Costumes are strongly encouraged.
Street N Treat; Grand Prairie: 6-8 pm; this popular event for families offers free games, face painting, arts and crafts events, and trick or treating. A new location for this event this year; 2960 Epic Place in Grand Prairie.
Kids Fall Festival, Dallas: 1-4 pm; Raffles, prices, food, games, music, photo booths, candy. Prices for entry; $12 for the first child, $6 each additional child. Admission includes raffles, prizes, food, games. music, photo booths, pumpkin painting and many other activities.

Fort Worth: Fort Worth Concert for the Family; 2 pm. Greater Fort worth Community Band Halloween Concert and Trunk or Treat Event. 1309 Wesleyan Street in Fort Worth. Admission is free.
Mesquite: Trunk N Treat, 8-11 pm this evening, First United Methodist Church; 300 North Galloway Avenue.
Temperatures will be terrific for this year’s sorely missed trick or treating; around nightfall, temperatures are expected to be in the lower 70s or high 60’s, with light winds.
