Kraft-Heinz Garland Announces Campus Expansion, Higher Wages, More Amenities

GARLAND (WBAP/KLIF)- Kraft Heinz-Garland announces new initiatives and is expanding their facility, adding new programs, offering higher wages, and new renovations to the building.  Kraft-Heinz is pivoting to create a multi-function manufacturing campus amd extend employment oppurtunities to attract both
blue-collar and white-collar talent.

manager Hadi Daneshyar said. “We want younger generations to understand how we’ve turned the notorious dark and gloomy factory and transformed it into a bright and colorful career path. At Kraft Heinz in Garland, we have established an environment focused on retaining talent for career growth, not limited to just manufacturing but opening doors for our company with these new initiatives. We are the steppingstone for the community.” he continued.

Renovations to the plant include a fully furnished, all- access gym to refocus the workplace’s value on health and convenience for its employees. Kraft Heinz at Garland will continue to provide multipleservices including an on-site masseuse, annual salary increases, referral bonuses, quarterly awards, and
more. Looking ahead, the plant intends on mass renovations to their staff cafeteria with hired chefs, flexible schedules, and more.

Plans for this plant seek to establish a modern-campus style work environment modeled after enriching workplaces like that of Dell or Google.

In addition to these innovative new installments, Kraft Heinz has also raised wages to $15.00 an hour, on average, as part of our ongoing effort to pay a fair and consistent salary. In this continued initiative, Kraft Heinz is also providing a $1,000 sign-on bonus to all part-time employees who work with us (paid
over 90 days) and a $1,000 referral bonus to maintain our focus on community enrichment.

Having a deeply rooted connection to the Garland community, these initiatives seek to further uplift all
people in the area with not only employment opportunity, but by giving back to the area. As a higher initiative, Kraft Heinz as a company to donate 1 billion meals by 2025. Kraft Heinz also continues to partner with local community-based groups to provide resources, employment information, and more. Throughout the summer, Kraft Heinz-Garland has sponsored and partnered with educational apprenticeship FAME Program, the Garland Chamber of Commerce and the Garland Community College, as well as local churches. These range from non-profits, veteran groups, educational institution partnerships, and more.
