(WBAP/KLIF) — Texas gun rights laws are headed to the governor’s desk. Governor Greg Abbott vowed to protect the states second amendment rights by signing three bills into law.
Abbott says that Texas is finally making sure citizens have the constitutional right to carry a gun as he vows to protect Texans right to bear arms. The governor promised to sign into law the Constitutional Carry bill, the Suppressor bill, and the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State bill.
Abbott appeared on WBAP’s Rick Roberts show on Tuesday to say he also plans to call a special session to pass a number of important bills that didn’t make it to his desk.
