First Bills On ERCOT Reform To Hit State House Floor

Austin (WBAP/KLIF) –  The Texas State House of Representatives will consider a series of bills Tuesday to reform ERCOT and the Public Utility Commission. State Representative Matt Shaheen of Plano says the legislature will among other things reform the six figure salaries the ERCOT board members and require all board members to live in Texas.  In addition, the bills will restructure the PUC and ensure the the winterization of the plants.  Shaheen says the process is moving quickly and he expects a spirited debate on the bills.
