Dallas Arboretum Welcomes Visitors for Popular Spring Event

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Arboretum is celebrating the annual Dallas Blooms event and this year people will again be allowed to see it in person.

Last year, most of the popular North Texas attraction was done virtually when the arboretum had to close its doors to visitors.

“We were only open a few days in the Dallas Blooms when everything closed,” said Vice President of Gardens for the Dallas Arboretum Dave Forehand. “This year they can be here in person.”

The arboretum is still asking for appointments by going to www.dallasarboretum.org.

This year’s theme is “America the Beautiful.”

“Each week of Dallas Blooms we kind of highlight each part of the country,” Forehand said. “Highlight different types of food items in our food and herb garden and also entertainment as well.”

The arboretum is taking appointments on their website. Masks and social distancing are required.
