DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Staff at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Cliff had a smile on their faces this week after giving the COVID-19 vaccine to an elderly woman from Grand Prairie.
According to Methodist Health System, 104-year-old Lois Kreger and her family spent weeks online trying to get Lois a vaccine. They were thrilled when Methodist called with an appointment. Lois was born in 1916 and is graduate of Grand Prairie High School.
“She is the oldest person we have vaccinated thus far,” Methodist Director of Public Relations, Ryan Owens said.
According to Owens, when Methodist Dallas President John Phillips asked Lois the key to a long, happy life, Lois simply said, “I never got married!”
Methodist Dallas vaccinated thousands of eligible patients on Thursday and Friday.
