Dallas Stars, American Airlines Center to Host Watch Parties with Social Distancing and Masks

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The American Airlines Center is playing host to Dallas Stars watch parties throughout the Western Conference Finals.

For the first time since March when the coronavirus pandemic took hold, the American Airlines Center is open to fans under 20% occupancy.

Social distancing and masks are required for the watch parties which are being held for every game of the Stars series with Las Vegas. Fans will be seated in groups no larger than six people.

Area businesses are unsure of what to expect.

“We hope to have an uptick in business before the watch parties, but we have no idea what to expect,” said a Manager at Hero on Victory Plaza.

The Tuesday watch party sold out in the early afternoon.
