Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The Bureau of Prisons reports more than 500 women at the Carswell Federal Medical Prison in Fort Worth have tested positive for COVID-19. That’s close to half of the 1,100 women incarcerated there. Only the federal prison in Seagoville has more infected inmates: 1,132 as of Monday. So far, two women inmates at Carswell have died of the disease.
