Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University has become the first major art museum in Dallas to set a re-opening date after the COVID-19 shutdowns. The Meadows has been closed since March 17. It will re-open July 7. The Meadows will re-open with regular hours, but will allow no more than 25% capacity.
Fort Worth’s three major art museums, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth have already announced re-opening dates, ranging from mid-June to July 1.
