Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Fire-Rescue fought a 2 alarm fire early Thursday morning along the Stemmons Corridor. Flames were shooting out of the roof of a vacant commercial building a block east of I-35E and Walnut Hill Lane when firefighters arrived about 3:00 AM. They had no choice but to take a defensive approach to keep the flames from spreading to other structures. There were no civilian injuries, but one firefighter did suffer burn injuries, and was hospitalized for treatment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
