Garland (WBAP/KLIF) – A Rockwall man has been arrested for Friday’s killing of a woman in Garland. 33 year old Jessica Watkins was gunned down at a gas station outside an I-30 Walmart while apparently soliciting money from customers at the gas pumps. Witnesses got the license number of the suspect’s car as it drove away. 28 year old Aaron Haas was traced through that number, and arrested at a home in Rockwall. He is now in the Garland jail, facing a murder charge. Police have not said whether Haas was acquainted with Watkins.
