Onalaska (WBAP/KLIF) – The national weather service’s tornado investigators have been called to Onalaska, Texas some 90 miles north of Houston. A confirmed, powerful tornado ripped through the community Wednesday evening, killing three people and injuring 30. Polk County law enforcement reports significant damage to residential and commercial structures, as well as public infrastructure.
Other tornadoes Wednesday evening killed a woman in Louisiana, and two people in southern Oklahoma.
