ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- The first concert event in the new Globe Life Field is this Saturday and is expected to draw in close to 40,000 people.
Amid growing COVID-19 concerns, Rob Mattwick with Rangers Business Operations says they are urging every visitor to closely follow CDC guidelines and stay home if you have symptoms. “We have been trying to find additional soap and hand sanitizer, to make available for our guests and go above and beyond what we normally have,” said Mattwick.
Mattwick said they are also going to put up signs with Coronavirus prevention tips from the CDC. He said it’s Live Nation’s decision to continue the Chris Stapleton concert but Globe Life Field staff is prepared to host everyone and handle these situations.
As for the Rangers Baseball season, he said it will be up to the MLB to cancel any games.
